Evelyn turned to fitness to improve her health after her thyroid cancer diagnosis in her late fifties. Since her diagnosis, Evelyn has competed in several bodybuilding competitions and earned her IFBB Pro Card in Figure.

Today she considers herself to be in the best health of her life. Evelyn continues to compete in her sixties as a member of the IFBB Professional League.
